Thursday, November 21 at 7 pm
Calaway Room, Third Street Center, Carbondale

Acknowledging that craving, desire, and addiction are among the most pressing causes of human suffering, the Mind and Life Institute brings together contemplative practitioners and scholars from Buddhist and Christian traditions together with a broad array of scientific researchers in the fields of desire and addiction with the hope that new understandings will arise that may ultimately lead to improved treatment of the root causes of craving and its many manifestations.

Anyone challenged with a craving, desire or addiction will benefit from the information presented to his Holiness by Dr. Volkw and will appreciate the depth of compassion in which this topic is held by all participants.

This streamed event is from the conversations held at the residence of His Holiness’s Residence, Dharamsala, HP, India from October 28 – November 1, 2013.

The evening presentation is from the afternoon of October 30th, the third day of the conversations.

Suggested donation: $10
