We are delighted to welcome Jan Garrett and JD Martin to Third Street Center for one of their first public concerts post Covid-19 lock-down, shutdown, slow down.

Jan & JD are well-known, well-loved local master musicians….multi award winning singer-songwriters whose music is being sung and played (literally) around the world.

Their concert at the Third Street Center will present the Heart of Harmony with a good clean edge, a perfect and powerful wake-up call inside and out…gorgeous music, brilliant lyrics, and generous interaction with the audience. Welcome to all of the light and all of the shadow!

Jan Garrett and JD Martin, “The Heart of Harmony,” are well-known and well-loved local musicians and multi-award-winning singer songwriters who have been happily living, singing, playing, and creating their music here in the Roaring Fork Valley for many many (many) years. Both are seasoned performers and creative guides who teach with a twinkle, and inspire by example.

JD Martin has written 5 Number One, and 10 Top Ten, country and pop hit singles, and his songs have been recorded by such luminaries Reba McEntire, B.J. Thomas, Peter Cetera, Atlantic Starr, and Kathy Mattea.

Jan Garrett is a jazz singer with a poet’s soul….a master music teacher, award winning songwriter, performance coach, wilderness vision quester, and (yes) Certified laughing Instructor who has toured with Steve Martin, John Denver, and the Dirt Band (Historic 1977 tour of the Soviet Union.) In her colorful musical past, Jan appeared on the Tonight Show and in Rolling Stone magazine.

Together Jan & JD have written and recorded 9 CDs of original music and have won top honors at the Positive Music Awards for many years running.

Garrett & Martin’s music and personal appearances are a soulful ride through light and shadow, reminding us that wherever we go, we’re already home. Don’t miss it!
