Just a few days before the Fall Equinox, you are invited to gather in community to reflect on and connect with the inner and outer balance this season symbolizes. Come relax, unwind, and restore with a healing sound journey designed to soothe the nervous system and support the body’s natural capacity for balance and self-healing.
Mateo will welcome the community with beautiful, calming guitar music. After opening the circle, Katie will guide an immersive hour-long sound journey featuring bronze and crystal singing bowls, gong, drums, rattles, and a variety of chimes. We will then have time for quiet reflection, integration, and optional sharing before closing the circle.
Please bring a yoga mat or blanket, pillow, eye mask, and water bottle. A journal is optional for recording reflections or insights from your experience.

Katie Smith is a former classical musician turned professional singer-songwriter and recording artist who found her way to sound healing facilitation and shamanic journey work through her own journey of healing and awakening over the past decade. It is now her joy to hold space for others to access more of their inner wisdom and connection to frequency as a meditative and healing modality with her skills and a variety of instruments.
Mateo Sandate Loves Music! He studied Jazz at University
of North Texas and has continued his education by playing professionally in a variety of ensembles through out the Roaring Fork Valley. His recent solo album, Believing in Beauty, was arranged for string quartet and recorded live at the Snowmass Monastery. In addition to sharing music, he also believes in music education and is an in-school educator with Jazz Aspen & The Aspen Music Festival.
