Join us in welcoming Carolyn Ringo from Paonia, Colorado for a talk about her experiences as a Home Funeral Guide, that entails why, what and how you can create this precious ending with loved ones. In addition, Carolyn will give us a clear view of what a natural or green burial is and the importance of a preserve in our area. History, current trends, and progress on obtaining land will be part of this multi-media presentation.

Carolyn Ringo has been a Home Funeral Guide since 2002. She has sat with many friends and family members in their last hours, and often had the privilege of helping loved ones care for their body at home and bury them naturally. This can all be done without the involvement of the funeral industry!
Carolyn is also on the board of directors of Wild Sage Natural Burials in Paonia, Colorado, a non-profit that has been researching, planning, educating the public and seeking land for the preserve for almost 2 years. Carolyn is also an educator and end-of-life planning specialist. More about Carolyn HERE.
Co-Host for the evening is Akaljeet, a graduate of the Brian Utting School of Massage and the prestigious Ruthie Hardee Ashiatsu School in Denver. Akaljeet has been in private practice for over two decades.
Most recently, Akaljeet completed the Conscious Death Coach and Sacred Passage Doula certifications at the Conscious Dying Institute of Boulder, Colorado. Learn firsthand the expanded services she brings to our community.
