Join us in welcoming Sonalchemist and composer, Gregg Wilkins to Carbondale for his first offering of Gong Bath to our community.

In a Gong Bath you are immersed into the vibrations and resonance of the gongs allowing sound to wash over you. These sessions can help on many levels of your being from the physical (on a cellular level) to consciousness/spiritual areas. Due to the broad spectrum of frequencies created by these instruments, you will not only hear with your ears but also with bone and skin conduction, allowing you to go into a meditative state and help release what no longer serves you.

The “Gong Bath” is done in the tradition that Gregg’s friend and fellow gong practitioner, Richard Rudis developed. Richard and Gregg performed together for many years playing 4 Earth Gongs prior to Richard’s passing in 2024.

Gregg Wilkins is a Sonoalchemist and composer, percussionist and drum facilitator. His background includes Chicago Musical College and the State Institute of Sonology in Holland studying the psychological and physiological affects of sound and vibration on the body as well as being a Reiki Master and Deeksha Blessing Giver. Gregg has been doing this work for over 30 years. He works with sound and energy to support the people attending.
