Human Keystone Species: A Conversation with William Evans, MD

January 6, 2021 @ 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm

An Online Event
WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 6, 2021
3:30 PM MST – 4:30 PM MST

William Evans, MD, retired physician living in Carbondale, Colorado, invites you to a talking Circle on the relationship of Human Keystone Species to Source.

This will be an interactive exploration of organizing our water in the collective benefits of life-sustaining choices.

“My introduction to Indigenous Science and Ancestral Wisdom began 1968 to 1970 when I served in Alaska at the Alaskan Native Health Center and as physician to the villages on Kodiak Island, Lake Iliamna, and the Pribilof Islands. After many solo trips on rivers, I began to study with ancestral teachers and in time was welcomed into a South Pacific Indigenous Family. I am interested in how the life sustaining nervous system influences beneficial choices in keystone species and especially in collective human decision making and relationships. As an elder I enjoy talking circles and listening to young people.” – Will Evans, MD

In July 2020, Will published a monograph on human relationship with source water titled, Circulating Source Water, which contains information about human keystone species. This book can be obtained at local bookstores and online.
