Introducing Sylvie Lam, Counselor, LPCC, CHT

November 17, 2020 @ 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm

The Center for Human Flourishing – Davi Nikent “Always Light”
is honored to introduce to our community
Sylvie Lam, Counselor, LPCC, CHT.

You are invited to join Sylvie Lam and Rita Marsh on a ZOOM call Wednesday, November 11th at 12:30 pm.

Learn about Sylvie’s journey to Carbondale and the therapies she offers to our community.

One modality Sylvie specializes in is Somatic Therapy: An embodied approach to rewriting your story Everyone has a story about themselves. Maybe it is something like “I’m unlovable” or “I deserve more than I get” or “I have to do it all alone.” Sometimes the stories are so deep that they live in your tissues, your nervous system, and your procedural memory- pushing you to enact the same experiences over and over and over again. But you’re not stuck, I promise. When we tend to our body, heart, mind, and spirit with curiosity and care we can unwind those stories and free you to create new ones. Curious or ready to try something new? Come learn more about somatic therapy and the Hakomi method* and begin the process of creating a deeper relationship to yourself and finding
more freedom.

Sylvie Lam has an MA in Mindfulness-based Transpersonal Clinical Counseling and is a certified Hakomi therapist. She is led by her curiosity about the intersection of mind and body and dedicated to bringing true holistic healing to her clients and community.

Sylvie can be contacted by phone at 970-528-0378 and by Email: sylvielamcounseling@gmail.com
