Dr. Shane Lieberman, MD is a palliative care physician new to the Roaring Fork Valley.

In his practice providing holistic support and care to patients with life-limiting illnesses, he often encounters questions about Medical Aid-In-Dying (MAID) and how it works in Colorado.

In this discussion Dr. Lieberman will provide answers to common questions about the Colorado End-of-Life Options Act, including the evolution of the law, common beliefs and concerns about it and specific requirements for patients.

Shane Lieberman, MD is a Palliative Medicine Physician at Valley View Hospital, Glenwood Springs.

Dr Lieberman trained at University of Colorado School of Medicine, Aurora, CO. He did his residency at St. Anthony North, Westminster, CO and Fellowship in Palliative Care at University of California San Francisco, Fresno, Fresno, CA

Co-Host for the evening is Akaljeet, a graduate of the Brian Utting School of Massage and the prestigious Ruthie Hardee Ashiatsu School in Denver. Akaljeet has been in private practice for over two decades.

Most recently, Akaljeet completed the Conscious Death Coach and Sacred Passage Doula certifications at the Conscious Dying Institute of Boulder, Colorado. Learn firsthand the expanded services she brings to our community.
