Pause and Reflect: A Valley Wide Happening
March 20, 2021 @ 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm
Saturday, March 20th
noon to 2 pm
See venues listed below
Religious and Spiritual communities up and down the Roaring Fork Valley are joining in an event designed for reflection on the year of the pandemic.
A chance to look back and to look forward on the Spring Equinox the day that signals the move from dark to light.
We invite you to think back on the year: About people we have lost, or are grieving. Of people that have been ill, or are in any other hardship. Of our own pain and grief. What has it meant for us, what has it meant for them?
Also to think forward. How do we intend to go on? What might we do differently, is there a re-set that we might want to undergo?
Some suggesitons:
You might also want to send a text, or a card to someone that you have thought of, or have been meaning to contact, and let them know that you are holding them in your heart.
And you might want to draw up some ideas for yourself as to how you might do things differently in the future.
On March 20th between 12noon and 2pm we invite you to drop in to a place of worship or sancturay and join with us to reflect on what we have been through, and what might be to come.
Where:
- Join in the Pause and Reflect at any of the organizations BOLDED in the list below
- Join from home.
- Visit a special place in nature.
- Join a live stream from The Aspen Chapel HERE.
You do not have to spend the two hours doing it, just take a few minutes or how long you feel is meaningful during the time period from noon to 2 pm.
It is something we can all do together to prepare for a new future.
