The water lily – a symbol of rebirth, renewal and transformation.

About Part 1:
Wednesday, July 6th 7 to 8:30 pm, Third Street Center, Carbondale

Have you been feeling anxiety, depression or overwhelm? Like many of us, you may not be talking about it, and just carrying it around in your back pocket. Come explore how to reclaim the healing power of grief, guiding us to a new way of being human – and healing the planet.

Regeneration is about creating wholeness and integration in our social, economic, and ecological lives. It’s also about a way of living and being that allows us to keep showing up with more wholeness, more whole-heartedness – generating vision and action for a thriving world in the face of a collapsing one.

The chaos of the last few years has provided fertile ground for a quantum leap – for each of us personally, and in our collective evolutionary journey. If hope lies anywhere it is here.

In this introductory evening, Gwen will share the relationship of grief to our evolutionary development as human beings. You will gain deep insight into the restorative aspects of grief, and its role in connecting us to our personal and collective creativity, agency and soul purpose. Gwen will share wisdom from Paul Hawken’s latest book, Regeneration: Ending The Climate Crisis In One Generation, and a distillation of her study of thought leaders on how to serve with velocity and heart in these pivotal times.

Admisssion: $10

About Part 2
Sunday, July 10th, 11:30 am to 5 pm at 7th Elder, Glenwood Springs
(directions provided after registration)

Gwen Garcelon curates a powerful container in which to experience and engage regeneration – our best hope for restoring balance in our lives and relationships, and for future generations.

We will gather on sacred land and be guided into connection with Mother Gaia using the principles of Gaia Theory and Earth-based wisdom traditions. You’ll have solo time to explore and restore your own connection – which is the heart of regeneration.

You will get to experience a Grief Council, and feel first-hand the re-integration and deep assistance of this practice to living your life’s purpose.

The goal of this day is to have you leave refreshed and re-aligned to the gifts you are here to offer – and to know how to access, engage and generate regeneration wherever you are called.

Fee: $60 for the workshop
You are invited to bring a dish to share for lunch – appetizer or entree or dessert – and snacks for the afternoon break. Suggestions on “dress” and other things for your comfort will be sent upon receipt of payment.

Your guide for Both Events: Gwen Garcelon has spent the last 25 years researching and actively engaging with leaders to understand what allows them to be “evolutionary catalysts” –  to keep showing up and generating vision and action for a thriving world in the face of a collapsing one. She has trained citizen activists in the movement to end hunger and poverty, and coached business and organizational teams on incorporating regenerative practices into their operations. Her work is practical, actionable, and transformational.

About the land where we’ll be gathering: 7th Elder on Canyon Creek, hosted by Sonja Linman. Situated upon three acres of land in Canyon Creek, Glenwood Springs, 7th Elder, is a sacred place to “Serve Our Servants.” 7th Elder is home to the Linman family, where they tend spaces for learning, meditation, gathering and celebration. And, where they honor the land as our oldest ancestor; from before humanity, from within all times of the indigenous Nuche people, and into our shared lives together.
