Join in celebrating Mateo and Shayla’s trip to Japan as delegates in the Unite 4 Peace events orchestrated by Unity.earth and their many collaborators in a global peace movement.

Hear about their time in Tokyo, at Mt Fuji and in Hiroshima. Learn about some of the wonderful people they met from various parts of the globe. A highlight of the trip was sitting in circle with the people from the Japanese organization Nihon Hidankyo a grass-roots movement of atomic bomb survivors, that on Friday, October 11th was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize, “for its efforts to achieve a world free of nuclear weapons.”

Shayla and Mateo will sing songs that came to them on this journey and perhaps a few from the valley they have come home to.
Admission: $20 at the door.

Shayla and Mateo bring a blend of Star-Gazing Folk to match their Wilderness & Earth Loving values. From their experiences riding rivers, walking trails, and listening deeply within forests, they share original songs and seasoned styles that speak to them. They love to play from the Heart.
