A presentation for Building Beloved Community Convergence.
Barbe Chambliss, PhD is a newly published author of the book, “Women’s Peacemakers: What we can learn from them.” Over the period of 30 years Barbe travelled to many parts of the world interviewing unknown women peacemakers. In her presentation Barbe will introduce the book and read sections about the women who are building beloved community in various locations on the planet.
Toward the conclusion of her presentation Barbe will share a significant personal experience that inspired her to conclude the book with a challenge to every reader to realize that in every day there is opportunity to do a conscious act of peacemaking.
