HOLOTROPIC BREATHWORK ® Experiential Workshop with Dr. Dia Lynn, Grof Certified Facilitator
Saturday, April 12th
8:30 AM – 7:00 PM
A Spiritual Center, Suite #31
Third Street Center
520 S. 3rd St., Carbondale.
THEME: “Moving Toward Wholeness”
HOLOTROPIC BREATHWORK® developed by Stanislov Grof and his wife, Christina Grof, is a practice that uses breathing and other elements to allow access to non-ordinary states for the purpose of self-exploration. Holotropic breathing has some similarities to rebirthing-breathwork, but was developed independently.
The Breathwork is intended as an approach to self-exploration and healing that integrates insights from modern consciousness research, anthropology, various depth psychologies, transpersonal psychology, Eastern spiritual practices, and mystical traditions of the world. Consciously applied deep inspiration and expiration teach us to endure cycles of transformation, overcoming fear of physical death as the end of existence and assuring us of spiritual rebirth. Your first breath was the initiation. The last breath ends the cycle.
Through deep breathing, evocative music, focused bodywork, and a safe setting, you are enabled to retrieve past experiences and re-frame them in the present into a more loving future.
Your Facilitator: Dr. Dia Lynn is a integral practitioner with a 37 year career development as a holistic healer. She has trained with five pioneering founders of esteemed traditions and is certified to practice several powerful, effective healing modalities.
