Yoga and Vibrational Healing: A Benefit for Kevin Badalian

Yoga and Vibrational Healing: A Benefit for Kevin Badalian

Friday, April 25th
6:30 pm
Round Room, Third Street Center,
520 S. Third Street, Carbondale

Join us to raise funds for Kevin through Davi Nikent’s new Integral Health Fund.

Bathe in the Transformational Power of Yoga and Sound.

We begin with ANAHATA SHAKTI: Accessing the Courage and Clarity of the Heart, presented by Faith Lipori. In this all-levels asana practice, we begin to thin the coverings that life has put over the light of the heart and use that light to access our innate clarity, joy and courage. This clarity will fuel our meditation where we will send love and healing energy to Kevin.

Faith Lipori is a ParaYoga® Level 2 certified teacher and believes we can all connect to our wisest, most loving, joyful and powerful selves through the deeper practice of yoga.  She is honored to have Kevin as her friend and student and is inspired daily by his courage and spirit.

As Faith guides us into Savasana, we will merge into sacred sound with Tibetan Bowls, Bells, and Planetary Gongs presented by Barry Chapman, Karen Connington, Conor Johnson, and Elizabeth Ward.

Kevin Badalian was diagnosed 18 months ago with chronic fatigue and immune dysfunction syndrome (CFIDS), a neuro-immune disease that severely restricts everyday life and activity. Currently there is no exact cause or cure, but research is focused on links to chronic Lyme and other infectious disease. Kevin grew up in the Connington-Badalian clan of Aspen-Snowmass, graduated from USF and lived in San Francisco for 10 years before returning home to treat his illness.

*Davi Nikent’s Integral Health Fund has been established to assist residents of the Roaring Fork Valley who are facing chronic health issues. Davi Nikent will assess and support individuals by co-sponsoring campaigns or events to raise funds for integral health care costs.
