Calling all supporters of Davi Nikent Center for Human Flourishing!

READ ON FOR THE EXCITING NEWS ABOUT AND END OF YEAR OPEN HOUSE AND FUNDRAISING EVENT.

As the 2019 year winds down we will take a pause in our offerings of events, workshops and films. We are grateful for your support of our community offerings this past year anD in the years since the inception of Davi Nikent Center for Human Flourishing in the fall of 2003.

We officially received our 501(c)(3) status in March 2005 and since then have maintained our place in the community through proceeds from the programming we have offered and the occasional donations from loyal supporters.

In September 2018 we received a substantial gift from a dear friend, Marlane Miller, Author, Developer and Researcher of The BrainStyles System® and in April 2019 the Davi Nikent board made the -decision to dedicate a portion of this gift to salary for a part- time director. At that juncture Ardis Hoffman, board member for 3 years, resigned from the board and assumed the Director position. Rita Marsh, co-founder and volunteer administrator stepped away from the everyday functions of the organization remaining on the board and morphing into an advisory role.

As we look back through the years we realize the amazing relationships we have established with authors, teachers, practitioners and attended. We find ourselves with a rich library of books, CDs, DVDs, audio tapes collected over the years.

Sooooo on Tuesday, December 10^th we are hosting an Open House as a fund raising event. Stop by our office Suite #24D between the hours of 10 am and 6 pm. Learn about upcoming programs for 2020.

For a donation of $20 or more you will have your choice of one item from our treasure trove of  books, CDs, DVDs, audio tapes.

Why audio tapes? There is a great resource here in Carbondale where you can get audiotapes rendered to CD or Mp3 files.
